GROWTH FORECAST TO EXPAND NETWORK
Dorade Projects which was set up only last September (2005) to provide professional support services to the yacht and marine industry is celebrating the success of its first year of trading. It is now poised for further growth and extending its network of specialist consultants.

Dorade's unique mix of well priced professional support services for the yacht and marine industry has attracted new client gains principally by way of recommendation.   On the back of this Dorade Projects is looking for additional consultants with proven project and contract management skills, specifically with legal or other technical backgrounds who can demonstrate a strong track record in the yacht industry.

Director Nick Horton has concentrated on developing four key areas of professional service support - contract negotiation, training and a mediation and dispute handling service - which recently secured a successful outcome for a major insurance claim.

Nick adds, "We have also undertaken successful contract negotiations for a range of projects including; outsourcing agreements for the aggregation and publication of marine trade data, a construction contract for a new commercial passenger ship, superyacht refit contracts as well as the revision of trading, warranty and other contract terms for boat builders and distributors. We are now keen on developing a network of specialists to further sustain our growth."

Consultants thinking of getting in touch with Dorade will need to be able to demonstrate commercial acumen, first class inter-personal skills, IT literacy (MS Project and Office) and the ability to work fast under time pressure.   Primarily they need to be located in the South West of England but Holland, South of France or Mallorca would be considered.   Contact Nick Horton email: nick.horton@dorade.co.uk
